2. The student is respectful to the teacher, peers, and all school property. The student is kind, courteous, helpful, considerate, pleasant to have in class, and a role model to his/her peers.

3.Athletic ability is no a criteria. Each student starts off with a clean slate each marking term.

4.Both Physical Education teachers, Mrs. Crook and Mr. Bryant meet on a monthly basis to discuss which students shall receive the award. One student from each grade is chosen by each faculty member every month. A total of thirty students from each grade level will receive an award this year. This represents approximately 15% of the student population.  the students receive a certificate, their names are printed in the monthly newsletter, and they are rewarded with a sports related culminating activity. Last year these students were taken on a trip to a Pawtucket Red Sox game.  We are hoping to do the same this year.
